I got to admit, I didn’t like the 3rd part as much as the 2nd. But all in all it was a great movie with a great message: BE YOURSELF!
The “Kung Fu Panda” trilogy is all about finding your own inner power. And this 3rd part was extremely focused on that. It teaches us about discovering the truth behind who we REALLY are, the purest form of US!
And that’s where you find your real and ultimate POWER!
There are quotes throughout the movie that caught my attention. These quotes are like a guide that lead you towards discovering your truest and purest self.
Are you ready to take the journey?
Here we go:
“All the answers will be found within.”
This first quote is pointing out exactly what we talked above. All of the answers that you need answering hide within yourself. Once you calm down and get silent, you’ll start to listen what the voices from within are trying to tell you. That’s your first step.
“Your real strength comes from being the best you YOU can be. So who are you?”
Like we said, the true power you behold comes from being the best you YOU can be! And the best you comes out once you stop holding your true self in chains. Start doing what you really want to do, and you’ll start being who you REALLY are. That’s your second step.
“There is always something more to learn, even for a master.”
And before you get all cocky thinking you know everything, know the fact that you learn only what you invest energy in, things change and what you think to be the truth never stays the same. Only by accepting that you cannot know everything you are free to learn anything. That’s your third step.
“When will you realize, the more you take the less you have?”
It’s not about the distance of the ocean, it’s about the depth. As many things you try to behold as less energy you have to invest in them. And it’s better to have one thing in which you’ll invest all your energy, to master, to dive into its depths, than have many things which you shallowly know. Detach from all the things that are unnecessary, you don’t own them anyway. That’s your fourth step.
“If you only do what you can do, you will only be who you are now.”
If a tree never strives to grow tall it will never give its fruit. Push yourself to grow towards the direction where you can become the person you know that you can become. Do the things that you suck at. Get better at them. It doesn’t matter how good you are at something as long as you do what you love, and learn from it. That’s your fifth step.
“Time is an illusion. There is only the now.”
The past are only distorted memories in your mind. The future are potential outcomes in form of thoughts. Both of them exist only in your mind. They are not real. ONLY THE NOW IS REAL! That’s the only moment-place where you can do and change something. That’s where-when you always are. That’s the driver’s seat. And once you collect your consciousness that is scattered across the illusionary time, and bring it into the now, you are the master of your own timeline. That’s your sixth step.
“I’ve been asking myself that question. Am I the son of a panda? The son of a goose? A student? A teacher? I’m all of those things.”
And finally, you may try to define yourself. Who you are? Are you a person who loves to travel? are you a person who likes to be with their family? are you an adventurer, or a person that likes relaxation? are you a person for a commitment, or a free spirited individual? Whatever you have been, whatever you try to define yourself with, YOU ARE ALL OF THOSE THINGS! And once you realize this, you’ll understand that you are beyond any definition. That’s when you’ll get a glimpse of your ultimate power!
