“Save the world? How about keeping our own house in order first?” ― Charles F. Glassman
Looking at superhero movies you might be slightly overwhelmed when someone asks you to save the world. And after all, you would need some kind of a superpower.
But those things are just movies, they are fiction. To save the real world you don’t need a superpower. In fact, you don’t even have to stand up from the couch.
The irritating thing is that our world can be so more beautiful place if we all just did some small tweaks in our behavior. Like really small.
We watch movies of superheroes fighting giants with lasers shooting down on them, and we fantasize about being a superhero who will save the world.
But all we need to do is waste less electricity. Literally, all you have to do to be your own superhero is waste less electricity and water, reduce polluting and recycle. That’s it.
You don’t have to fight giants with laser beams shooting toward you (even though it might be cool). Saving the real world doesn’t even have to be dangerous.
So if it’s just a question of whether we choose to tweak our behavior, you would think that all people would embark on this noble quest. Well, some might, but not all.
For some reason not all people in the world contribute to make the world a better place. Some of them are unaware, some are just lazy.
If you read this article than you are not in the unaware group. However, if you are in the lazy one, than here is an insightful infographic that is customized solely for lazy people.
