More than 250,000 deaths per year in the US can be attributed to a lack of physical activity.

Moreover, when you exercise your body releases dopamine, a hormone that helps you be happy.

These happy hormones are bound to release stress and make you a little more joyful. It is recommended to get in 30 minutes of exercise for at least 5 days a week in order to be fit and healthy.

You do not have to go all out, you can even decide to go on a brisk 30 minute walk, which can do wonders for your health.

2. Look after your mental health.

It is often easy to forget about our mental health.

Dealing with physical ailments is actually easier since it is something that we can see. A lot of things can throw off our mental health, such as work and home stress that leads to burnout, having an irregular sleep cycle, and pushing yourself on days when you feel anxious or depressed.

Remember to take a break when you need it and to take out time for self care.
