Alanna Brown is one of the coaches we found and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her insightful and fun practice to discover your real nature of you you are. Here is what she said.
Name: Alanna Brown
Pillar: The Spirit
Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to discover themselves, regain faith in who they are and live life in a new more authentic way.
How they can help: By using techniques for self discovery, empowerment and alignment with your real nature of who you are.
My family and I are doing very well. We’re all in good health and feeling blessed.
Most of my clients were able to transition to working from home, which worked well for them.
I also had a client who temporarily lost their job at the beginning of the pandemic.
What a significant time to have a life coach, right? I had the privilege of witnessing that client navigate that situation so beautifully.
As for me, I was able to work from home for some time and then returned to the office with safety measures in place.
Deeper understanding, compassion, and adaptability.
Everyday life changed quickly due to the pandemic, and new ways to connect and live have come to rise.
The pandemic seemed to hold a magnifying glass to things on an individual and societal level, some of which were uncomfortable to see.
That lesson has enhanced how I approach situations in my life moving forward.
I am a Certified Life and Leadership Coach and owner of “Journey with Alanna”, LLC.
My sweet spot is working with individuals on spiritual journeys and empowering them to intentionally guide themselves to a stronger sense of autonomy and live in alignment with their passions, strengths, and values.
My coaching career started after embarking on a personal journey of spiritual growth in early 2018.
Soon after, I heard the term “life coach” on a tv show, and it was like a light bulb had turned on.
I began searching to learn more about life coaching, it resonated with me, and I knew this profession was for me.
The following year, I started my professional coach training through the Coach For Life Institute.
Now, I’m pursuing a Master’s degree in Consciousness and Human Potential from Maharishi International University to deepen my personal and professional expansion even further.
The biggest obstacle in my life was learning to use my voice to advocate for myself.
There was a time where I was doing very little of that but not recognizing it as such.
It was significant for me to discern what works for me and what doesn’t and honor it.
It took time for me to learn how to communicate that to others in a way that honors them as well.
That obstacle was essential for me to be who I am today, a woman who stays true to herself and doesn’t take on more than is necessary, emotionally, spiritually, physically, or mentally.
I innovate by empowering my client to align with who they truly are under the changing circumstances.
For me, coaching is more than achieving goals.
It’s about going beyond the ‘doing’ or action of life and attuning to the ‘being’ or innate essence of a person.
And of course, the action is part of our humanity, but I’ve found that it’s not nearly as satisfying or powerful without aligning with that steady anchor or true north first.
I believe that alignment is the key to lasting change and fulfillment in life.
My coaching approach incorporates a fun self discovery exercise.
The exercise results in a tool that allows clients and prospective clients to articulate who they are at their core, their most innate nature.
It serves as their true north. As we continue to work together, they consciously begin to align their new choices that core.
I’ve had clients tell me that the self discovery tool comes to mind in between our sessions, demonstrating how naturally it integrates into daily life.
My clients’ most notable benefits are confidence, trust in their intuition, and clarity.
While working with me, my clients are completely in the driver’s seat of their lives.
The established ability to trust themselves in the driver’s seat lends itself to those benefits.
My clients move forward, taking inspired action to unfold the physical manifestations of what they have identified as goals or desires.
My favorite tool to use is the self discovery exercise that I mentioned earlier.
I use both a mini version and a full version to assist my clients in bringing their true north to light.
It’s time to focus on who we are at the core of our Being and make choices from that inner knowing.
That shift in focus will allow our lives to unfold with so much more ease.
The inner work of personal growth is never done.
There’s always more to explore, and that’s a good thing!
To open the door to including more authenticity, fulfillment, and well being into the picture of your life, I would invite people to ask themselves this question,
“who do I want to be for myself and others around me?”
