Lori G. Clark is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her encouraging approach. Her coaching is more than just a discussion with her clients. She guides them to find new perspectives and see their situations in a new way that allows them to find opportunities. Here is what she said.
Name: Lori G. Clark
Pillar: The Mind
Who is this coach for: For anyone who feels stuck at the bottom not knowing how to get out.
How they can help: By having a conversation and offering different points of view.
Me and my family are doing well and trying our best to stay healthy and safe.
I wouldn’t say the virus itself affected them. However the many different dynamics and challenges that came with it, made people feel as though getting “back in order” was number one priority.
The biggest lessons I’ve learned is to take things one day at a time.
I also learned that there will be times in our life we absolutely cannot control. That doesn’t mean we feel rest in defeat because of those situations.
About me, where do I start? Haha I have a passion for people. I want everyone to do well in life.
I also want people to know that even when life takes a toll on us, we can still achieve great things.
I enjoy writing, networking, spending time with friends and family. I started coaching after following a life coach for several years.
He made the opportunity available for me to get certified, so I did!
Life coaching has been so fulfilling and rewarding. From writing blogs to working with people one on one.
I love it.
Well, the biggest obstacle came for me when I was 25 years old, and had overcame every hardship of my life.
I was on the road to the life of my dreams when everything was ripped away from me after suffering a traumatic medical emergency.
Doctors were unsure if I would recover. They also said if I did recover, my life would never be the same and my daily battles would be endless. Heartbroken, I took that news and decided to LIVE.
To this day doctors consider me a walking miracle based on how I have been able to live beyond my experience.
I help people see the “brighter side” in everything. I help people understand that rock bottom isn’t a destination but rather a pivot point.
I allow people to understand that I know what the bottom looks like. So when I represent my coaching business I take my life as it is now and show people I am a prime example of anything is possible.
Can you say new and improved?
When clients talk to me I like to open their minds to new approaches, new perspectives, and a new life.
My clients finish my sessions ready to conquer their fears, mental barriers, and insecurities with confidence.
I don’t use specific tools but rather I like to chat with other coaches and… I got certified for a second time.
I would tell people whatever you believe is true. If you believe you can or you can’t, YOU’RE RIGHT!
The greatest lesson I’ve learned is everything happens when it is supposed to.
Just keep moving with a good heart and watch God work!
I want everyone to know they can live the life they want.
They are capable of being happy and they are capable of being fulfilled.
