Olukunle Ige Iyanu is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with him. He impressed us with his passion for coaching.
He started his career back in 2019 after crawling out of his depression and he decided to spread positivity to the world.
He is doing online meetings and sessions. He coaches his clients through discussions about their challenges and by sharing different points of view.
His passion and dedication to self improvement and coaching burn brighter than most adults and his wisdom is incredible, considering he is only 15. Here is what he said.
Name: Olukunle Ige Iyanu
Pillar: The Mind
Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to be motivated and gain clarity.
How they can help: Through talking about each client’s challenges, offering advice and motivation, and using most leadership traits taught by John C Maxwell.
We are doing great, doing phenomenal things.
The coronavirus pandemic didn’t really affect my clients because God protected them and also because they all learnt the importance of life.
For this reason, they saw the reason to thank God for life.
Family and friends would help you go a long way by helping you in your times of challenges.
I also learnt that if you want to walk far, walk alone but if you want to walk further and faster, walk with your friends.
I am a 15 year old motivational speaker and inspirational writer.
I started my career in the year 2019 when I saw the need to spread life and light.
I was depressed and then after few days, I came out through the help of God and through the speech of Denzel Washington.
This stirred up my interest and made me begin to speak to people.
I share the word in order to change lives and have a positive impact.
My biggest obstacle was depression.
I was depressed because I just came out of a relationship and the girl I was then dating was cheating on me with a guy older than I am.
I was sad for some few days and then I had to brace up and started pushing my goals.
I was willing to give myself a thousand second chances.
I was motivated by hitting rock bottom and I began to rescue myself.
Well for me, most of my clients are always online so we schedule meetings and talk about their challenges.
I also try to read their emotions and actions when we have meetings.
My teaching is unique because I try to understand my clients, place myself in their shoes, and then drastically influence their decisions and actions.
My clients tend to be happy always and they would begin to see the need to live.
I use most leadership traits taught about by John C Maxwell.
Poverty is not a disease. It is just that stereotype that it as a disease.
We have to work hard, pray earnestly, and give in our best to what ever work.
Indolence is not needed.
Working really hard is what successful people do.
Your greatest weakness might be giving but more trial is the way to success.
God is greatest.
“Success without a successor is a failure”.
