Geraldine Spurway is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her dedication, expertise and success that she brings to her clients.

She decided to certify as a coach 8 years ago when she had her daughter. After a successful career in the digital world she decided to found her own consultancy.

She has acquired a mix of skills and talents that make her unique and her coaching one of a kind.

Her approach combines methods from human design to reiki and breathwork. Through a combination of exercises she helps her clients go deep within, remove negative beliefs, regain real confidence and even generate multi 6 figures with their business. Here is what she said.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?

I am doing well thank you.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

It has affected my clients stress wise.

Some had to take a job back on the side of their coaching business, others saw their relationships falling apart.

It affected my health, as I have had the coronavirus twice and my appendix burst out. Creating a lot of uncertainty.

Professionally, it’s been quite incredible.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

You will never grow faster than when you start building your own business.

It requires so much resilience, it will change you forever.

Prioritizing your wellbeing is mandatory.

When you do things that light you up, when you feel aligned, it has a ripple effect on your business, and on the money you make.

Surround yourself with the right people.

People you can learn from, grow with, and most importantly, people who love to have a good laugh (life is too serious).

Done is better than perfect.

Don’t overthink, just take action and take every opportunity as they come.

Celebrate failures.

They will teach you more than your success.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I am Geraldine, a French woman in London.

I am a Leadership and Performance coach, a Digital Marketer, a Breathwork Facilitator and a Reiki Master.

I fell into personal development when I was only a little girl, and I have been living in the realm of Magic ever since.

I firmly believe the limits we create in our life are created by us.

When I had my daughter 8 years ago, I decided to qualify as a coach with the ICF, whilst keeping working in agencies.

After a successful corporate career in the digital industry, I decided to set up my coaching consultancy and spent the past three years helping entrepreneurs and high profile individuals, scale their business and career, one chakra at a time.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

When I was 19, I had severe depression following being assaulted.

Overcoming depression and building resilience made me the woman I am today.

We are the main actors of our own movie, this is for us to decide what we want the next chapter to be about!

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

I use a unique combination of Marketing Strategy, Breathwork, and Somatic Healing to help them be visible, become an authority in their field and make more money.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

I help my clients go deep, and transform from the inside out.

Having spent 20 years climbing the ladder in the corporate world, I know how it feels to not have a voice in the workplace.

I use a combination of tools like Human Design or Breathwork, to help them find their genius, drop the limiting beliefs keeping them stuck, so they can become the expert they are meant to be.

There Are No Get Rich Quick Schemes.

It all starts with a desire.

Tune in. Plant the seed. Water it every day.

Even when you can’t see anything happening.

And then, if you are patient, resilient, if you keep believing, you will get to see a flower blossoming…

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

I have learnt that change is inevitable.

Don’t be afraid to pivot, and embrace change.

You will learn so much more about yourself, and will grow as a person.
