Name: Namrata Dhasmana

Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind

Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to align with their true self, gain clarity and confidence to have their breakthrough in life.

How they can help: Through a program called Strength Finder, also by using various tools and techniques like becoming aware of the core values of the individual, and an exercise called “Name It, Aim It and Claim It” just to name a few.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?

Thanks so much for asking.

The Pandemic has bonded us closer than before.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

The Pandemic created confusion and insecurity among people.

Strength Finder empowered them and made them confident after they were laid off from the organisations.

The pandemic helped me to grow as an individual, to do innovations for my clients and give them a reality check to improve their emotional wellness.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

The pandemic made me more natural and closer to self.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

Great, my career spanned widely from serving in military as an officer to working in leadership roles in MNCs like Vedanta, Wells Fargo, Genpact and as a business consultant in Guide Point and GLG.

My coaching journey has been with me as a leader since army days to lead my troops and keep them motivated in tough terrains and challenges.

In a transition from military to Corporate, I picked up Gallup as a strength based philosophy and believe you me Dejan, that was the best choice for empowering and coaching my clients and teams in the organisations.

Now I have a process of giving a complimentary exploratory round of coaching.

Let me also tell you what this exploratory round consists of…

When people come for exploratory round- they are not ready to accept their limiting mindsets.

They like to get acknowledged in their life as they have been living how they have been told.

The other kind of clients are those who are open with their shortcomings and look for tools to navigate in their career and improve productivity.

I help them in exploratory rounds to explore themselves and unleash their true potential with the help of my tools and process.

Sometimes I use DISC, sometimes solution based coaching models.

Strengthsfinder is also one of the most underestimated model and restricted with strengths and weaknesses.

My sessions take a deeper insight of getting associated with underlying emotions and making them aware of their surface emotions and empowering them with their innate strength.

My other USP is identifying their personal core values and that is where the break through moments come in my clients’ life.

As a leader and as a coach, it is not only relevant but essential to have an empowered team and set of people who are motivated, jovial, and look forward for their day at work.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

I keep my mindset open to learn, experience, and reflect for self improvement.

That kept me on my journey.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

That’s something I love doing.

Whether it’s a remote coaching or in person coaching, I make sure the value prepositions are as per my client.

Along with my experience and my tools, I innovate my methodology after having an understanding of my client.

Grow model is never successful with executives or leaders.

They come with issues of anger management, non acceptance with the team.

They get perspective of their leaders and learn the language and art of conversation.

By making them do role play, it helps them to get perspectives of other people and self improve.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

My approach is to make my client have a breakthrough by giving them their self confidence and using I AM Framework, which is more than any affirmation.

I give practical insights of who they are and how they can scale up in their life with their innate strengths and governing emotions.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

They stop claiming their false self.

They know what brings them joys and what annoys them.

That’s their break through moment.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

Yes, I use “Name It, Aim It and Claim It”.

Most of the people live to fit in the parameters created by others.

Once they learn what they are good at and what empowers them, they are able to lead their lives and their purpose.

Secondly, awareness of personal values brings them those insights, what they truly seek and how to achieve it.

Mostly people are stuck in the societal fundamental values and are not truly aware of their personal core values and their construct.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Your knowledge and information is never complete.

Respect people and stop assuming things and people.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

Enjoy the journey and not the final destination.

Your final thoughts?

Life is too short, have faith in the Lord and believe in self.

You are born to do wonders in life.
