Find Life Coach | Meet Christine Clark: How to Forge Your Life Like a Beautiful But Strong Samurai Sword?

Christine Clark is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her unique approach to coaching.

She is living in a dual entreprenurial household. Even as a hard worker, it’s still quite challenging to raise a faimly and grow your business all from the same place.

She however, has a strong character and that’s exactly what’s unique about her coaching. She help her clients find all those internal conflicts that are preventing them become the strongest version of themselves and live their best life.

Her coaching approach is pretty unique, she is guiding the transformation by following the same principles and processes used to forge a beautiful, strong and sharp samurai sword. Here is what she said.

Meet Life Coach Christine Clark:

Name: Christine Clark

Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind

Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to forge a beautiful life and a deeper understanding about themselves.

How they can help: Through a coaching that deeply resembles the processes of creating a samurai sword and by unrooting the internal issues that prevent the individual from living a beautiful life.

First of all, how are you and your family doing in these Pandemic times?

At this point I do not consider us to be in pandemic times.

How does the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

There is now the economic upheaval which is an outcome of how the pandemic was handled.

Maintaining a business now has the added stress of skyrocketing costs.

As the coach for your entrepreneurial life my business is secure.

Hundreds and thousands more individuals are choosing to open their own businesses.

Small business isn’t small.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

To not be afraid.

To allow individuals room to be as is comfortable for them.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

We are a dual entrepreneurial household.

I am the managing partner for my husband’s business while running my own businesses.

I was in direct sales as a Mary Kay Consultant for 25 years.

I came across a person who languaged self development in a way that resonated with me.

As I plugged in and followed I healed my relationship with my business and myself.

I also began using what I learned with those around me.

The idea began to grow “I think I want to be a coach”.

There was a compliment time I did at the end of each of my Mary Kay shows.

Two rules:

1. The woman receiving the the compliment was only allowed to say “Thank you.”

2. The compliments had to be sincere.

I saw how women deflected the praise.

I saw how some women had a hard time being connectional.

I wanted to reach in and turn up their self worth and self belief.

But, I was in the wrong uniform.

I began a search to find where and how to become certified.

It took two years to find the program which was in alignment with my values.

In July 2015 I stepped into a full immersion certification week.

It was a total change of trajectory.

I have been a full time coach, speaker and trainer ever since.  I hold seven certifications to date.

I feel I am now doing what, unbeknownst to me, I’d been preparing for my entire life.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

I have made some big leaps in my life.

One was jumping off the corporate ladder when my first son was born.

The corporate job required 60 and 70 hours a week.

I didn’t want my son raised in daycare.

I did not do the strategic thing and build the direct sales business to the level of my salary first.

I simply jumped making us a dual self employed household.

To swim, to tread water, to figure it out.

We have made it.

That child is now 28 years old.

There is very little a client can bring that I have not personally experienced.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

Forging A Life; Truths in Creation of Katana is my platform.

The processes to make a katana i.e. samurai sword relate how we can create a beautiful highly function work of art that is our lives.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

I have an extensive intake form.

From that the client and I set intentions for desired outcomes.

Sometime those are met and sometimes not.

My higher value is to address the deeper internal issues that get in the way of individuals living their significant life.

Sessions are client lead and I am the safe space to allow exploration, reckoning, and release.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

Those who work with me prioritize based on their core values.

They learn to access their inner talents, their unique elements.

They break through to deeper relationships, more flow, and increased abundance.

They grow in their understanding of themselves as well as grow their business.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

The entire coaching program schedule is laid out before we begin.

I use shared google docs for coaching notes.

Clients have a prep sheet to complete and submit for each session.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Success depends on the labels you give to events and outcomes.

What we tell ourselves can produce energy or drain it away.

To forge the beautiful highly functional work of art that is your life is a process.

The fires and challenges are required to give us strength and resilience.

In process we refine our unique elements so we can both attain our desired life and maintain it once achieved.

Trust your elements. Trust the process.

What is the greatest lesson you have learned in your life?

To trust myself and listen to the intuitive voice.

To take action especially when I am stalled out, in a fog, simply unhappy.

It does not really matter what I do.

Simply acting breaks the spell and brings me back to my center.

Your final thoughts?

Thank you for the invitation to be interviewed.

Many good thought provoking questions.

The questions around the pandemic feel outdated.
