We are doing well and were able to work the entire time as we were predominately remote employees.
Honestly not really.
But it allowed me to focus on the next chapter of my journey.
Most of my clients were displaced from their employment and needed a coach to support them through their career transitions.
Many struggled being thrown into remote work, but through coaching, altered their mindsets to embrace and love remote life.
The biggest lesson I learned was not to wait for anything.
Embrace your dreams and work toward those as you do not have a set time in which to accomplish your dreams.
Fight for them and work on them at all times.
I started my coaching business in 2010 but have been coaching for 25 years in Career Coaching through my human resource career.
I have worked in human resources and training and development since 1996.
I received my Doctor of Education, Workforce and Human Resource Development in 2020, and I hold my Master of Science in Leadership and Organizational Development from 2008.
I honed my abilities creating a strategic people frameworks and leadership overseeing multiple functions including Talent Management and development, Organizational effectiveness, and Organizational Change.
My HR experience spans numerous industries and geographic locations.
I started coaching to help people transition in their careers, work through job loss during mergers and acquisitions and redundancies, before migrating into a more holistic approach in corporating mindfulness, positive intelligence, life coaching and happiness.
I do not see them as obstacles because I learned and grew from all my experiences.
I was born with an auditory processing disorder that made written and verbal language more challenging to learn, however I focused improving every chance I could and eventually graduated with my Doctorate.
I innovation in coaching by exploring new and effective ways to help my clients achieve their goals and overcome challenges.
Here are some strategies I use:
Offering a range of services and guidance to individuals seeking to navigate their lives more effectively.
These offerings are designed to help individuals identify and achieve their personal and career goals, enhance their professional skills, and make informed decisions about their paths in life.
I use many tools based on the persons needs and goals.
I use the Wheel of Life, Positive Intelligence training, Mindfulness techniques, Empowering positive beliefs, SWOT analysis, Smart Goals, GROW model, Vision statements, Journaling, Wheel of Awareness, Ikigai Framework.
In a world facing various challenges, let’s remember our shared humanity.
Every person is navigating their own journey, encountering struggles, triumphs, and moments of joy.
By fostering empathy and understanding, we can build bridges of connection.
Together, we can create a world where compassion prevails over judgment, where kindness transcends borders, and where unity becomes our greatest strength.
Let’s face the future with courage, resilience, and a collective commitment to creating positive change for ourselves and generations to come.
We are our own worse enemies.
We are the voice in our heads that tells us what we THINK people are saying, but that is our inner saboteur.
That is the lies it tells us.
Only we can silence that negative voice and focus on improving ourselves.
Everything else will fall into place once we learn to ignore that voice of negativity.
Everything in life is a gift.
Nothing to add.
