Stephanie Holder is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her passion and professionalism.
She found her calling far from the conventional career path. With a background in high stakes finance, she felt the pull toward a more purposeful life, ultimately leading her to pursue international life coaching. Today, she guides individuals, ranging from business executives to athletes, toward discovering their true potential, grounding her approach in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Timeline Therapy, and breath work.
Her unique style is all about going beyond simple goal setting. She delves deeply into her clients’ core values, helping them uncover who they truly are and what they genuinely want. Through innovative techniques and a holistic approach, she transforms overthinkers into clear minded, driven individuals, helping them climb the “right ladder” in life.
She empowers clients not only to achieve their goals but to experience a profound sense of personal growth and fulfillment. Here is what she said.
Name: Stephanie Holder
Pillar: The Mind
Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to learn how to focus their energy so they can reach their goals and build their desired reality.
How they can help: By using various tools and techniques like NLP, breath work, meditation, visualisation and manifestation, just to name a few.
Throughout the pandemic, my family and I, like so many others, faced numerous challenges.
However, we adapted by finding new ways to connect and support one another.
It was a time of re evaluating our priorities, focusing more on well being, and cherishing the moments we have together.
With three school aged children, we were lucky enough to enjoy some fun times together playing in the garden, and even having cherry fights with our next door neighbours under the cherry blossom tree whilst celebrating their sons 21st birthday ‘from a distance’.
It was all very different but we learned how to have simple fun again and be genuinely grateful for the small bits of ‘contact’ we had with people.
I really feel this period deepened our understanding and appreciation of human connection.
The pandemic underscored the importance of flexibility, adaptability, and mindfulness… which ironically were the same lessons we took from our time travelling.
It reinforced how vital it is to channel our energy towards what matters most to us, instead of merely focusing on the urgent.
This period also emphasised the significance of balancing various life aspects and teaching our children to do the same.
My journey into coaching has been quite an adventure!
Despite starting my career in investment banking, I always felt the pull of a more fulfilling path.
After years of feeling like something was missing, trying to figure out what I wanted to do, exploring different passions, I realised my true calling was in helping others find their sense of purpose and fulfilment.
This realisation led me to become a fully accredited international life coach.
I found immense satisfaction in working with individuals from all walks of life, including sports professionals and business executives, guiding them towards achieving their goals and realising their full potential.
A major obstacle I faced was the fear of stepping away from a conventional career path.
Investing my time in a high pressure environment like investment banking left me yearning for something more meaningful.
The bold decision to transition to coaching, leave our UK home and take our three children out of school to embrace an adventurous lifestyle in Southeast Asia was challenging yet profoundly rewarding.
This experience taught me to trust my instincts and pursue what truly brings fulfilment.
But the fear of the unknown is real!
Sometimes it is easier to endure the mundane than to follow our dreams.
We just need to keep asking ourselves ‘Am I willing to let my need for comfort in this moment outweigh the discomfort of nothing changing when I look back in years to come?’
Innovation is pivotal in my coaching practice.
Utilising my expertise as a master practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), I help clients overcome barriers by reshaping their thought processes and behaviours.
This approach allows for deep, long lasting change.
Many coaches like to work specifically with goals and get to these as effectively as possible, but my approach is slightly different.
I use techniques such as Timeline Therapy, Breath Work, energy focus journaling and a deep dive into values.
These help to holistically uncover who you are at your core.
Sometimes we feel lost, or like we are creating goals that are serving an old version of ourselves.
We may not even know what we want anymore.
This is why I strip back to basics before any type of formal goal setting.
Sometimes in life we are simply climbing the wrong ladder.
I help people to establish which ladder is right, before I help settling goals and facilitating progress.
Once we have a focus, I work with clients on mindset clarity which is key to sustaining change in the longer term.
By integrating these tools, I facilitate a transformative journey for my clients that is as unique as their aspirations.
What sets my coaching apart is the combination of NLP techniques, breath work, and a deep dive into values.
This hybrid approach integrates powerful coaching questions and goal setting with breath work, meditation, visualisation and manifestation techniques.
I find this hybrid approach to be particularly powerful with clients that are typically prone to overthinking.
This enables significant breakthroughs and fosters a deeper self awareness, empowering clients to achieve their aspirations.
Clients experience profound personal growth and clarity in their life directions after working with me.
They equip themselves with strategies to effectively overcome procrastination, build drive, and enhance energy levels.
This holistic transformation leads to improvements in both their personal satisfaction and professional success.
Indeed, I have a set of robust tools, including NLP techniques, customised goal plans, and mindset assessments.
These resources are designed to enhance focus, streamline processes, and maximise the impact of each coaching session for my clients.
Prioritise what truly fulfils you, and don’t let fear stand in the way of your dreams.
Embrace your journey with courage and curiosity.
Time is finite, so use it wisely.
The greatest lesson I’ve learned is that where focus goes, energy flows.
It’s crucial to be mindful of our focus to ensure our energy is aligned with our core values and aspirations.
This understanding forms the basis of my coaching, where I support clients in focusing their energy on meaningful pursuits.
I have learned over the years to apply this focus on gratitude and lessons.
When things are going well it is so important for me to focus on gratitude.
Equally when things are not as expected, or even deeply painful I always try to understand the lessons I can learn from the experience, relationship or interaction.
It’s the same with learning to relinquish control.
Sometimes we focus on things we simply cannot control.
By shifting that focus to the things we can control we can allow our energy to pour into something constructive rather than feeling drained and out of control.
Coaching is not merely my profession but my passion.
I am grateful for the opportunity to support others in leading lives rich with purpose and satisfaction.
It’s my belief that with the right guidance, anyone can achieve the extraordinary.
