Find Life Coach | Meet Svitlana Lipińska: How to Use Consonance Therapy to Find The Root Cause of Your Traumas and Heal Permanently?

Svitlana Lipińska is one of the coaches that we found this month and we did a little interview with her. She impressed us with her innovativeness and passion.

She has over three decades of experience in psychology and psychotherapy. And along her journey, there was one thing that was frustrating her. In the world of therapy, many practitioners rely on established techniques. And sometimes, this rigorous, close minded approach prioritizes the process itself over results. What if there were a structured system that could comprehensively resolve emotional trauma at its core, and at the same time, it is focused on results? This is exactly what inspired her co create the Consonance Therapy method.

She has transformed frustration into innovation, developing a method that integrates multiple therapeutic approaches into a single, result driven system. Her journey, spanning for over 30 years, from owning a flamenco dance school to becoming a pioneer in trauma therapy, reflects a relentless pursuit of deeper understanding and revolution within the world of psychotherapy.

She has developed a ground breaking system rooted in neurobiology, epigenetics, and psychotraumatology. Consonance Therapy is designed to not only uncover insights but to deliver tangible healing and overcoming of traumas permanently, on all layers. Here is what she said…

Meet Life Coach Svitlana Lipińska:

Name: Svitlana Lipińska

Pillar: The Spirit, The Mind, The Heart

Who is this coach for: Anyone who wants to overcome their traumas and heal permanently.

How they can help: By using her innovative and revolutionary method Consonance Therapy.

First of all, how are you and your family doing after these Pandemic times?

Before the pandemic, my work was almost entirely offline.

However, the pandemic pushed me to transition rapidly to online sessions, not only with clients but also with psychotherapist training.

Surprisingly, this period gave me the opportunity to reassess my career and life priorities.

It also allowed me to systematize and organize my extensive knowledge and experience, gained over years of studying ten different psychological methods.

This work led to the creation of an innovative system I call Consonance Therapy.

How did the coronavirus pandemic affect your clients? Did it affect you at all?

The pandemic (and later the wars in Ukraine and Israel) highlighted the urgent need for effective crisis support.

These events showed us that traditional long term, low result psychotherapy is inadequate for today’s fast paced and uncertain world.

Many people who might never have sought therapy under normal circumstances found themselves overwhelmed and sought help.

At the same time, therapists were unprepared for the demand for quick, tangible results.

These crises exposed the weaknesses of conventional psychotherapy.

What are the biggest lessons that you learned in this pandemic?

The pandemic reinforced that there is no “good” or “bad” time in life, there is only life, with its challenges.

It taught me the importance of adaptability: having a plan but being ready to let it go when circumstances change.

When one door closes, don’t wait for it to reopen.

Look for another door, even if it’s one you hadn’t considered before.

Challenges, combined with a desire to grow, create opportunities for creative solutions.

The Origin:

Tell us about you, your career, how you started with your coaching career?

I am the founder of the innovative Consonance Therapy method, a certified psychotherapist, psychologist, and trainer.

My journey in psychology began in 1992, and I’ve been training psychotherapists since 2006.

My first degree was in pedagogy and choreography, and I owned a flamenco dance school.

My interest in psychology began as a tool for personal development, which led me to pursue a second degree in psychology with a specialization in body oriented and dance movement therapy.

These methods allowed me to continue exploring self awareness through the body and creativity, delving into the existential and subconscious aspects of human experience.

Over the years, I trained in eight different body oriented methods, which I deeply cherish.

However, as my passion for therapy grew, I realized I wanted to help others release emotional pain and heal past traumas.

I earned certifications in two trauma focused verbal methods.

This accumulation of knowledge and techniques over nearly 20 years brought me joy but also frustration.

Each method had its strengths but lacked the ability to address every aspect of a client’s problem comprehensively.

I often had to improvise during sessions, choosing techniques intuitively, while wondering if they would work.

There was no structured system to guide the therapeutic process or reliably measure its effectiveness.

Furthermore, many approaches to psychotherapy prioritize self discovery, with no guarantee that the client’s problem will be resolved.

Yet clients come to therapy seeking solutions, not just insight.

Many of my clients had spent years, even decades, in therapy without achieving the results they hoped for.

These challenges fueled my determination to find a more effective way.

Over time, I intuitively developed solutions that worked consistently.

Later, I sought scientific validation for these approaches, drawing from fields such as neurobiology, epigenetics, psychotraumatology, and neuropsychology.

This combination of experience and research ultimately formed the foundation of Consonance Therapy.

What was your biggest obstacle that you had to overcome in your life that made you who you are today?

Nothing in my life has come easily, but this has only motivated me to seek solutions.

Growing up in the totalitarian Soviet system left me skeptical of prepackaged answers.

If something doesn’t work, I cannot simply pretend it does.

This mindset often forces me to forge my own path, even when facing resistance.

My greatest challenge is still ahead: persuading a traditionally conservative professional community that psychotherapy should prioritize results over process.

The Coaching Style:

How do you innovate with coaching your clients?

Consonance Therapy integrates elements from various psychological approaches into a cohesive system.

It allows a single therapist to work with any type of trauma (whether simple PTSD, complex PTSD, developmental trauma, attachment trauma, or shock trauma) on all levels of perception: cognitive, sensory, emotional, bodily, and social.

The method provides a structured therapeutic process, enabling therapists to understand where to start, what to do next, and how to guide the client predictably toward resolving their issue.

This structure gives therapists confidence in their effectiveness and ensures emotional safety for both the therapist and the client.

What’s unique about your coaching approach?

The key innovations in Consonance Therapy include:

  1. Result oriented focus: Resolving clients’ real life problems, not just encouraging self discovery.
  2. Comprehensive system: Allowing one therapist to address any level of complexity, integrating all aspects of a client’s experience.
  3. Structured process: Providing clear steps for therapists to manage each stage of therapy.
  4. Multilevel integration: Addressing cognitive, emotional, sensory, and bodily aspects simultaneously.
  5. Personality model: A new structure that identifies personality functions and integrates them with the body.
  6. Root cause focus: Targeting and resolving the underlying causes of problems rather than treating symptoms.
  7. Efficiency: Optimizing time, emotional, and financial resources for both clients and therapists.
  8. Self help tools: Teaching clients emotional hygiene skills to manage emotions, thoughts, and memories independently.

What benefits do your clients get after working with you?

For clients:

  1. Quick problem resolution with long lasting results.
  2. Improved self reliance and emotional management after each session.
  3. Comprehensive support from a single therapist.

For therapists:

  1. A clear, adaptable system to structure therapy.
  2. Tools to safely deactivate trauma’s core.
  3. The ability to measure therapeutic effectiveness at every stage.

Do you use any specific tools to be efficient with your clients?

Consonance Therapy integrates scientific knowledge and time tested practices into unique algorithms, protocols, and structures.

These innovations make therapy manageable, predictable, and resource efficient for both clients and therapists.

The Impact:

If you had a super megaphone that, when you speak into, the whole world will hear your message, what would you say?

Our current education system, particularly in psychology and psychotherapy, is outdated and needs urgent reform.

It demands extensive time, effort, and money but fails to prepare professionals for real world challenges.

Education, medicine, and psychotherapy have become self serving systems, prioritizing their own survival over the needs of those they serve.

We must shift the focus back to solving problems, not just perpetuating methods.

Your final thoughts?

Psychotherapy must shed its “emotional crutch” reputation.

Clients need to feel their problems are being resolved in real time, not just explored endlessly.

If psychotherapy can enhance its effectiveness, it has the potential to become an integral part of modern urban culture, helping people adapt to an ever changing and unpredictable world.
