Mental biases are evolutionary programs created by our mind with intent to save energy and improve efficiency in constructing beliefs, making decisions, thinking and giving a model to the world.
There are over 200 known cognitive biases that are proven. The 4 main categories of mental biases are:

- Mental biases created when we need to act fast.
- Mental biases made to filter out what we should remember.
- Mental biases activated when there is not enough meaning to fill up the gaps.
- Mental biases that help us when there is too much information to process.
